Greenlee academic advisers, Jessica Hansen and Jason Wiegand, were both recognized for their advising excellence. Hansen was honored by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for her early achievement in academic advising. Wiegand was awarded the Outstanding Adviser Award from the National Academic Advising Association. You can read more about their individual awards in the releases below. Hansen and Wiegand advise 250 Greenlee undergraduate majors. They advise students as they transition to college, create four-year plans and decide on a major. Once students successfully complete the school’s introductory curriculum, including JL MC 201 Reporting and Writing for the Mass Media, they are assigned to a faculty adviser.
