Keaton Lane stepped onto Iowa State’s campus nearly four years ago to pursue his dream of storytelling, and found a way to combine his passions through his double major in journalism and mass communication and performing arts. He led his final show as Jesus in Godspell on April 14.
From interning at one of the largest advertising agencies after only a year at Greenlee to launching the Iowa State Saudi Club, Omar ShibatAlhamd, a graduating senior in advertising, from Medina, Saudi Arabia, has made the most of his Iowa State experience.
Nayelie Valenzuela is currently a senior at Iowa State studying public relations. The Sioux City native is a McNair Scholar and an ISCORE/NSCORE Scholar and spends much of her time doing undergraduate research as part of those programs.
Julian Neely, a junior in journalism and mass communication from Des Moines, has been involved in campus politics since his freshman year. He was elected Iowa State’s student body president on March 8 and will serve the university his last year at Iowa State.
