The Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication is accepting nominations for its Greenlee Professional Achievement Award and Greenlee Young Alumni Award. Nominations for both awards will be accepted now through Dec. 15, 2021.
Al Henkel (’82 journalism) is the recipient of the 2021 Greenlee Professional Achievement Award, and Adam Kuban (’07 M.S. journalism, ’05 journalism and meteorology) is the recipient of the 2021 Greenlee Young Alumni Award.

The Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication at Iowa State University has named Rick Phillips the recipient of its 2020 James W. Schwartz Award. The annual award recognizes distinguished service to journalism and communication and is the highest honor conferred by the school.
President and Co-Founder of Blue Compass, Drew Harden (’03 advertising, art and design) will present the 2020 Futures Forum Oct. 1 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Kelly Howard (’08 journalism) and Lissandra Villa (’16 journalism, political science) have been named 2020 Iowa STATEment Makers by the ISU Alumni Association.
Shannon Latham (’93 agricultural journalism, public service & administration in agriculture) is the recipient of the 2020 Greenlee Professional Achievement Award, and Kacey Birchmier (’11 journalism) is the recipient of the 2020 Greenlee Young Alumni Award.
