Kelly Howard, CEO of EigthSixtySouth and Iowa State alumna, will discuss the business side of public relations and how to succeed in internships at the Greenlee School’s Fall 2017 Futures Forum. Free and open to the public, the lecture will begin at 3 p.m. on Oct. 26 in the Memorial Union Campanile Room.
Five Greenlee School journalism and mass communication majors are the recipients of 2017 Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Circle awards for work published by the Iowa State Daily Media Group during the 2016-17 school year.
Lynsey Addario, a Pulitzer-Prize winning photojournalist who has covered every major conflict and humanitarian crisis of the past 15 years, will present “It’s What I Do” at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Memorial Union Great Hall.
The scholarship application is available for incoming students. Applications are due Dec. 1. The Greenlee School awards over $150,000 in scholarships every year to its students. The application for current students will be available Dec. 5.
