LAS Week: March 27-31

LAS Week is an event to celebrate the College of Liberal Arts and Science’s diverse academic areas in the physical and life sciences, math and computational sciences, communications, arts and humanities, and social sciences.

First Generation

I am a first generation. This means I was the first born on American soil. The first one to be a part of 82% of first generations to finish high school. Fall 2022 Jump-Start Internship & Networking Fair

The fall 2022 Jump-Start Internship & Networking Fair will be held virtually via CyHire on Oct. 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The fair helps students majoring in advertising, journalism and mass communication, public relations and related fields to build their personal network of local and regional employers and learn about internship and job opportunities.

Greenlee students finalists in national media planning competition

Last fall, then first-year students Clare Vilmont, public relations and political science, and Ellie Flynn-Snider, public relations and data science, began the months-long process of competing in the Washington Media Scholars Media Plan Case Competition. Greenlee advertising students bring home gold, silver awards

Congratulations to Greenlee advertising students who won American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Des Moines awards recently! Petra Owusu, Haley Williams, Lexi Sneller and Sarah Carney collectively won three gold and three silver awards at the Addy show. Several Des Moines agencies showed interest in their work and set up interviews with them as a result.
