Greenlee is home to several clubs and organizations that support all of our majors. You could join the Advertising Club, Public Relations Student Society of America, the Screenwriting Club or the Sports Media Club, just to name a few. If your interests take you outside your major, Iowa State offers 800+ student organizations for you to explore.

Participating in our independent, student-run media will enhance your skills in reporting, writing, editing, public relations and more. From broadcasting and radio to magazines and photography, you will expand your professional portfolio while creating life-long friendships.

Greenlee School’s First Amendment Days Celebration is the longest-running, student-organized First Amendment event in the nation. Each April, the week-long celebration showcases the amendment’s five freedoms, while additional activities take place throughout the year.

Our study abroad programs offer memories that last a lifetime, with competitive scholarships and fellowships to make your experience more affordable and less stressful. Program lengths and locations vary so you can find an experience that fits your academic schedule.
