Bio
Lehr Thorson is a fifth-year senior at Iowa State pursuing a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication. She is originally from Fort Dodge, Iowa, and is a member of the University Swim and Dive Team. Aside from swimming, Thorson has been a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) since her freshman year and serves as a Big 12 representative for SAAC.

#WhyGreenlee: I chose Greenlee because the faculty welcomed me with open arms. I had some ideas of what I would want to study, but everyone ensured me that the program would be unique to me and my interests. I’m thankful to be able to have an opportunity to explore all options of journalism and mass communication.
