The big-data website StartClass.com has ranked the Greenlee School Advertising and Public Relations degrees among the best in the nation, awarding both programs 93 points out of 100.
Iowa State’s Advertising degree was ranked fourth with several other programs, including those at Penn State, Drake, Alabama and South Carolina. The University of Florida advertising program received 98 points, the highest score.
ISU’s Public Relations degree was ranked fourth with several other programs, including those at Marquette, Gonzaga, Drake and Tennessee-Knoxville. The University of Florida, Georgetown University and University of Southern California tied for first with 98 total points.
In assembling rankings, StartClass.com uses Graphiq, a knowledge utility that accesses 120 billion data points, describing 1 billion entities across 1,000+ collections. The site states: “Our knowledge graph relies on thousands of public and private data sources and a dedicated team of 60+ researchers and data scientists who continuously maintain, relate, and develop it.”
