Assistant Professor Andrew Pritchard and Sherry Hoyer from animal sciences received approval to present a summer workshop for 4-H students visiting ISU, on the theme of “Deep Dark Secrets of Advertising.” The workshop will introduce students to media literacy and provide an opportunity to promote Greenlee’s programs.
Pritchard also participated in the student résumé workshop for the Jump-Start Internship Fair and agreed to serve on an LAS committee to evaluate scholarship applicants. In research activities, Pritchard was asked by colleagues at other institutions to join a project studying defamation issues in a series of media-driven conflicts between the NFL and organizations representing its teams’ cheerleaders.
