Professor Daniela Dimitrova will moderate the AEJMC panel titled “All Politics Is Social? The Evolution of Social Media Use in Presidential Campaigns.” Greenlee’s Raluca Cozma and Kelly Winfrey will be presenting on the role of Twitter and Facebook in the primaries, respectively.
Dimitrova, director of graduate education, also reports two grad students have acceptances at the AEJMC conference, in collaboration with professors:
- Pritchard, A. & Hu, S. (2016). Just a Phone Call (or Facebook Post) Away: Parents’ Influence at a Distance on Emerging Adults’ Religious Connections. Accepted for presentation by the Religion and Media Interest Group, AEJMC, Minneapolis.
- Kim, Nahyun & Lee, Suman (2016) Cyber-security breach and crisis response: An analysis of organizations’ official statements in the U.S. and South Korea. Accepted for presentation by the Public Relations Diviosion, AEJMC, Minneapolis.
“It’s great to see the contributions that our graduate students are making inside and out of the classroom,” Dimitrova stated. “These research collaborations show that the research training Greenlee faculty members provide can lead not only to conference presentations but possible publications down the road.”
