+ Shelby Howard, Greenlee graduate and copywriter at Integer in Des Moines, visited all three sections of ADVRT 334 Advertising Creativity recently. She regaled students with her career path in creative advertising and offered advice on internship interviewing.
+ I submitted a new class proposal on social media for advertising/PR to the curriculum committee. It was approved for next semester. Please promote to your students (497L)!
+ I’ve accepted the position of faculty adviser for the Happy Strong Healthy student publication.
+ Daniela Dimitrova invited me to speak in her JLMC 502 Research Methods class on the application of focus group research in advertising and PR.
+ Former Kum&Go executive David Miller stopped by my ADVRT/PR 301 Strategic Planning class. Students have just wrapped up their focus groups and ethnographies and are preparing presentations to Kum&Go during finals week.
