“Social Media and Political Campaigning Around the World” addresses the complexities of social media content, its use and the effects on political campaigns, both in the United States and internationally.

Iowa State’s Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication had its second-highest recruiting year in 2016 with 147 incoming students in Advertising, Journalism and Public Relations, bringing total enrollment to 844.
Assistant Professor Su Jung Kim’s manuscript "Understanding the Role of Different Review Features in Purchase Probability" has been accepted for presentation at the AEJMC Conference. The manuscript was co-authored with Ewa Maslowska and Edward Malthouse at Northwestern University.
