Greenlee School to host Jump-Start Internship and Networking Fair Feb. 26

The Greenlee School will host the Jump-Start Internship and Networking Fair from noon-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019, in the Memorial Union Great Hall. This boutique-style fair offers Iowa State University students the opportunity to connect with dozens of employers offering internships and jobs in journalism, advertising, public relations and other related fields.

Greenlee School announces winter break hours

Hamilton Hall and the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication main office will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1. The main office will be open between 7:30 a.m and 4 p.m. Jan. 2-4 and Jan. 7-11. See more details.

Sherry Berghefer named ICA’s 2018 Adjunct of the Year

The Iowa Communication Association presented its 2018 Outstanding Adjunct Teacher Award to Sherry Berghefer, a senior lecturer in the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication. The award recognizes effectiveness in teaching, demonstrated through outstanding evaluations, innovative teaching strategies, exceptional learning standards, proof of student learning and service to the department.

Greenlee School alumni and friends honored during 2018 Homecoming Week

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Iowa State University Alumni Association presented awards to Dave Kurns, the late Henry Ong, Art Slusark and Dan Winters during Homecoming Week. Bill Tubbs received the school’s Schwartz Award and Jen Sorenson was recognized by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
